Membrillo was a fun project to work on. Chris approached me to create a new website for their traditional Spanish finca (country house), as they had been without a site for a few years.
The leather, skeuomorphic background to the website gives the feel of a luxury, high-end brochure or property portfolio and the handwritten “Membrillo” logo title (top left) adds to this and feels nice and personal.
Luckily, I was able to find their original website on Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine and surprised them in retrieving all of the original content! I then integrated with a live feed of their Homeaway.co.uk reservation calendar, so online bookings via this service automatically showed up on their new website.
A custom photo gallery, location map and contact form was then deployed along with all of their other content.
The site is now live and looking great. Take a look for yourself!
